Mariel Rodriguez Suffers Miscarriage for the Second Time

Robin Padilla revealed that his wife, Mariel Rodriguez suffered another miscarriage.

Padilla sent a message to ABS-CBN saying: "I would like to inform the good public that my wife suffered a miscarriage — from RP."

Betchay Vidanes, the manager of Padilla also confirmed this news to Rappler.

"We have received a confirmation message from Mr. Padilla regarding the status of the pregnancy," said Vidanes via a text message. "It is with such heavy heart that we are informing you that Ms. Mariel has suffered a miscarriage on August 12, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. and the couple have lost the triplet pregnancy."

On August 1, Padilla confirmed that Rodriguez is pregnant to twins. 10 days after they announced that they are having a triplets.

This delegate pregnancy forced Padilla to back off his commitments, which includes a movie with Japanese actress Maria Ozawa for the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entry "Nilalang."

Ozawa criticized Padilla calling him "unprofessional," which drew argument over the internet with some going on her side while others saying that she should have understand what he's been going through.

Gentleman he is, Padilla called for the people to stop hitting Ozawa, saying that he understand where she's coming from.

Robin and Mariel got married in 2010. Robin is already a father to six children, four of them are from ex-wife Liezl Sicangco.
