The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC), the organizer of the Star Awards for Movies 2014, has issued an official statement regarding the vote-buying allegations of Jobert Sucaldito against Vice Ganda’s Best Actor Award in the recently concluded 30th Star Awards for Movies held at the Solaire Resorts and Casino on Sunday, March 9, 2014.
In its statement posted on their official Facebook page, PMPC "strongly refute" the allegations of entertainment columnist and radio personality Jobert Sucaldito, who questioned PMPC's credibility and claims Vice Ganda's Best Actor award was paid for by a member of the voting body.
