BB Gandanghari Files Formal Petition to Change Name, Gender in California. 'CHANGE is coming... Big time!!!'

"CHANGE is coming... Big time!!!" she wrote.

Binibini Gandanghari has filed a petition to use the name legally, based on her Instagram posts on Saturday, August 20, 2016. From her birth name Rustom Cariño Padilla, the transwoman wanted to use a name that would reflect her current gender identity, thus, Binibini Gandanghari which she has been using since she started dressing up as a woman.

Gandanghari's Instagram posts showed the petition form with the date Aug. 18. One photo also showed her filling up what seemed to be the form. She had a finger to her lips in the other.
