UPDATE | Super Thypoon Yolanda (Haiyan) - 12 Areas Under Signal No.4

Here is the latest PAGASA-DOST weather advisory on Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) issued At 04:00 AM today, the eye of Typhoon "YOLANDA" was located based on all available data including Guiuan and Mactan doppler radar at 62 km Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.8°N, 126.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 235 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 275 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 39 kph.

At 02:00 AM 08 November 2013, the eye of Typhoon "YOLANDA" was located based on all available data at 135 km Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.6°N, 126.9°E ).

At 01:00 AM 08 November 2013, Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) was located at 170km East Southeast of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (10.5°N, 127.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 225 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 260 kph.

Super Thypoon Yolanda is expected to landfall in Guiuan between 5 and 6 AM of Friday. By nighttime, it will already be over Coron, Palawan on its way out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
