An international NGO proclaimed Entrepreneur-designer Deniece Millinette Cornejo as the Ambassador of Goodwill-Philippines for the youth. According to Robert Requintina of Manila Bulletin, the appointment was given to Cornejo by the group SPMUDA International Organization for Peace and Development, Trans-Mundi Pax Humanitas at the Chivalric Order of Royal Bai, Mindanao.
Cornejo's main duty is to make sure that the needs of the less fortunate young people would be taken care. She will serve the NGO for 3 years.
SPMUDA is a non-profit NGO which is recognized by the United Nations Department of Economics and Social Affairs. It has 193 branches all over the world.
Cornejo shared her new responsibility and how it challenges her abilities.
"Weeks from now will share on how Sustainable Development Goals can build peace. In God's will and hopefully my voice will be heard at an official event at the United Nations Headquarters in New York this September," she on Instagram.
